Alan became an entrepreneur in the construction industry at the age of 19. After 9 years Alan realized he was missing some key elements of leadership. Wanting to help others become better, he needed to first make himself better. Thus began the journey of personal growth. Growing as a leader had paramount effects on the growth of the company and the direct outcome of that growth allowed them to be chosen nationally by Equipment World Magazine as the 2008 Contractor of the Year.Alan & his wife, Amanda, have had the privilege of attending many John Maxwell leadership events, including extensive travel with the Equip team and John Maxwell to many different countries. As an Equip Associate Trainer, Alan spent 3 years training leaders in Columbia, South America and is currently training in Rwanda, Africa. More than ever, Alan is passionate about leadership. His mission, engaging and inspiring others to become significant, was birthed when he chose to influence people positively. Alan usually welcomes change however the idea of changing himself first was no small endeavor. His wife, kids, friends and employees will tell you how developing himself has made all the difference.
